Today we're discussing The Modern Dance and Dub Housing by post-punk pioneers Pere Ubu. Led by vocalist and only constant member David Thomas (before his death in 2025), Pere Ubu is considered one of the first ever American post-punk bands, forming in 1975. The Modern Dance and Dub Housing, the band's first two records, are considered classics and essential in shaping the entire genre.
